Description
This is an optional 2 shoe clutch flywheel that can be used to upgrade the Kyosho Inferno ST US Sports if you are going to use an after market engine on a starter box. Comes stock on the Kyosho Inferno GT2. Includes a flywheel Collette made from hardened steel. Some people prefer this style clutch over the 3 shoe clutch as it generally last longer and needs less maintenance. Overall it is a softer feeling clutch compared to the 3 shoe. There 2 types of shoes available for this clutch. This would include the carbon and aluminum shoes. The carbon shoes last much longer and causes almost no wear on the clutch bell. The aluminum version engages much higher than the carbons and grabs the bell harder for a snappier feel. The carbon shoes work best on low traction surfaces and the aluminum work best on high traction surfaces. Remember your setup does nothing for you if you are driving with any wheel spin. You can use the shoes and softer and harder springs that are also available to control wheel spin. Generally and contrary to most opinions, less wheel spin will translate to faster lap times as well as allowing your tires to wear better.
